***DVD to NAV $699 Installed

I am doing a group buy for forum members for a DVD to NAV system for $699 installed. This includes the conversion unit, DVD player and installation.

PM me if you are interested.

Do you hear me?

Re: ***DVD to NAV $699 Installed

I have no idea how much it'd cost for me to attempt to do myself but this sound interesting! Do you have pics of where the DVD player would sit?

And is there by chance it can be a PS2 ?

Thanks

If you have some 19s that you want to sell... let me know

Re: ***DVD to NAV $699 Installed

You have a couple of options on the location of the DVD player. This price is for it installed in the trunk. Obviously if we are to do something custom it will be more. We can do the PS2 if you bring it in. I'll credit you back the cost of the DVD player.

Awesome, sounds good!

Also, can there be a discounted GROUP BUY price? =) like lets say if a certain amount of people jump on the price can drop a bit?

(also which conversion unit brand are you guys going to be using?)

Depending on how many members are interested, I will use that to try to negotiate Nav with TV to get the prices of the units down.

Sounds good!

How does AUDIO work? can we get them through all channels of the speakers in the car? Like a surround sound effect?

Re: ***DVD to NAV $699 Installed

This unit is not "Nav TV", it is "Nav with TV", a competitor of NAV TV and AV Electronic. Sound will come through your speaker in stereo, not 5.1 surround sound. That's a whole other ballgame. Credit back for the DVD player is $150. I usually sell them for $200 but I discounted them for this package. But if you are going to do the PS2 you will need a power inverter that I can do for another $50. So overall credit back would be $100.

Re: ***DVD to NAV $699 Installed

Would running this unit while the car is off take a toll on the battery? =)

I know it's a remedial question, but I don't want my battery to die out like that!

Re: ***DVD to NAV $699 Installed

If that's the only thing running (no big amps) then you should be fine. But it's always good to upgrade to an Optima Battery.

Rudy...

does the Nav TV or the AV unit come with the surround sound? is that the main price difference?
