^I could of told you that. LOL!
Plus, IMHO, it's pretty much not worth it cause the front bushings are still rubber. I wouldn't want the rear of the diff stiff with the stock front bushings.

Mark, you might be better off just using solid dif mounts (I might do that one of these days)
Sorry you can't make it Bill, was looking forward to you helping rep sedans.
I'm not entirely convinced yet that the weather is gonna cooperate - last I saw there is a storm (conflicting forecasts as to when it will hit)...

Looks like rain is gonna hold off til early next week... we should probably get a current list and determine where/when to meet.

Also, bring chairs - and canopy (if someone has one)... Since this was a wait & see thing, the BBQ idea isnt gonna happen... so make sure you bring food & drink (the concessions food is CRAP!). For those that dont know, alcohol is not a good idea.
For meeting; I suggest we all agree to meet just inside main gate between 6:00 and 6:30... for those that have never been, the main gate is off Cherry (north of I-10) when you enter main gate you turn right through a giant parking lot to the line (8 lanes or so)... we should meet jut inside the main gate right at the beginning of the giant parking lot - there is plenty of space to the right to pull over and park and wait for everyone. Typically we have a cut-off time (meaning we wont wait for anyone after a certain time)...
Open to other ideas (and if people think earlier is better, that's fine - last time we were way early (like 5:30), but I've also seen it fill up quick).

This weather is just pissing me off. Seriously.
I would suggest about 5:30. To be honest, I just want to get in, get past tech and then relax. Anyone who knows me, knows I hate waiting for tech. I'll probably be taking a nap since I will be running on no sleep.

I called the track - the plan to open but are aware of possibility of rain... They will update main page of the "dragway" section of website if the track is closed - so check in the morning (or late tonight) jsut to be sure. Obviously if its raining they will be closed - but even drizzle or chance of rain, be sure to check the site or call (they will have a recorded message if closed).
As for inspection - it starts at 7:00... getting there early will help get in front of line, but there will be others as well and inspection at this track is usually pretty slow - so it might not matter if we get there too early...
They will check for license, insurance and registration DONT FORGET TO BRING ANY OF THOSE (you'd be amazed how many people dont have 'em). Also, they will ask what you usually run (if faster than 14.00 they want to see a SNELL approved helmet)... if you are not FI you probably wont run faster than 14 - if you have never run here just tell him that you run low 14s. If you are FI, you will run faster than 14 and are required to have a helmet (bring one). Jairen and I will have helmets just in case, but we will all run in same group so sharing helmets wont be very convenient (but doable).
If you end up getting there earlier or later than the rest of the group, call someone you know is there and ask what group they are in and ask to be in that group when you go to registration after tech inspection (sometimes they will do it even if they are presently issuing later group - just tell them you are with a bunch of people in the earlier group. Hopefully this wont be an issue if we all enter together.

As for time of arrival - gates dont open until 6:00 so we cant meet up in parking lot until after gates open. For this reason I suggest we plan on making a cutoff time inside the gate. Getting there early means you'll wait in the street till gates open, then wait in line until tech inspection starts... getting there a little later means you will have a shorter wait for tech inspection to start but longer wait to get inspected (its kind of a wash).
Since we all want to pit together and be sure we are racing in same group number, we need to agree on meeting time. The only way to enter together is to gather in the big lot just after you enter the gate.
If you plan to be first in line in tech inspection and dont plan to wait to gather, try to block a half dozen or more sports next to where you pit. At this track, its usually best to pit near start/finish line (or near the white ticket booth) close to the drive lane to enter staging (anything closer is a cluster ***** and you'll be crammed in with too many other cars).
Next to your name, list the time you want to meet in parking lot. If you prefer to get there before gates open, list 6:00 for parking lot meet time.
