Temecula meet?

Anyone interested in south riverside having a G/Z meet? I would like to see some of the cool cars in my area and would be happy to set it up?

Re: Temecula meet?

Any ideas on a good location, I am new to this? We could do my culdesac, although that would mean a max of 15 or so cars? I do not know how public places work, it seems you need a permit to take a crap these day. What about Chaparral High School on Winchester? They have a HUGE parking lot and it is really easy to find? I say a Saturday in the morning, like 8 or 9am? If anyone is interested in these possibilities, post to this subject and I shall set a date? Thanks

Re: Temecula meet?

roadracer, Might want to first find a place near the freeway so people don't have to drive much. Good location near food with good parking. I'm not sure how many people we would get in Temecula. The Chino Hills meet took some time before it started to get good turn outs. Good Luck and if you need any help let me know.

Re: Temecula meet?

if someone wants to set one up in temecula i am deffinatly down. i see a few nice g's around. most the time cruising down margarita. but i think you could easily have a nice meet at the mall. close to the freeway good parking lots and there is usually a big empty spot on the outer parking lots. perhaps the lot behind the theater. theres good food there too. ogies pizza, phillys best, kill devils (owned by karl malone), california pizza kitchen, daphnies(greek food) macaroni grill... just to name a few.

Re: Temecula meet?

The mall might be a bad place depending on the day that you pick, usually its flooded with people simply because its the only one out in the Temecula area. I think the Chapparell high school will fine you for trespassing if you show up there, I almost got fined by just walking through =/ Theres actually a park you can meet at near the Temecula Valley Highschool with a pretty big parking lot area. You will rarely see more than 5 cars there at a time and its really not that hard to find.

Re: Temecula meet?

Thanks for the input, but I think I have to agree that we need to be close to the freeway and to food? I have found that there are a few places at the Promenade that has lots of unused parking, especially near Macy's and Robinsons? I think you are probably right about Chaparrel High, screw them! If you have further suggestions, I am all ears?

Re: Temecula meet?

The Promenade is pretty much the best place to get food at, with places like CPK and Islands right across the way, its hard to beat =) Yea there is a few places at the Promenade with open parking, but it really depends on the day. Been thinking about it, and pretty much out of Temecula the Promenade would probably be your best bet / place to meet thats near the freeway with things to do.

Re: Temecula meet?

there is also that new parking lo over by islands and krispy kream, that might work depending on how many people show... p.s. i went to the new joint chipolte over there next to starbucks... that place has some pretty good burritos... they have a couple around one in camino del rey, and one in beverly hills to. not bad try it sometime.

Re: Temecula meet?

Chipotle is bomb! I been to one in Redlands. I havnt been over to Islands / KK in awhile so I havnt seen the new parkling lot area over by Starbucks. That parking lot really aint that big though, the one at Islands atleast. I think your best bet is to find an open one at the mall near Robinsons May or Macys like someone mentioned.

Re: Temecula meet?

O.K. guys I know that the Promenade is great for food and access to the freeway and Chipotle IS the bomb. But we could also meet at Pechanga. The top level of the new parking structure is pretty much always open(empty), and they've got some pretty good food there aswell as a new food court. Ask me how I know,..., I work there. Usually when we schedule a cruise from Temecula, we meet at the Pechanga gas station and go from there. Any way, it's just another suggestion. Hey, anyone want to meet up at Starbucks on highway 79 south and Meadows Rd. about 10:00 a.m. on Sunday?
