Hi Everyone!

I tried the G37 forums but didn't get much of a response there, so I thought I might try here.

Who do you guys trust for service in the LA area?

I'm looking at buying a G37 from a fellow forum member, but I'd like to get a pre-purchase inspection done before I fly out in person.

From what I've gathered, I should stay away from Miller Infiniti and Glendale.

Riverside and Thousand Oaks seems to have a good service reputation.

Advice? Suggestions?

Thanks for all the help in advance!

I've been using Riverside Infiniti for 3+ years now w/o any issues but it was a bit of a drive for me. There is a new dealership that opened in Westminster called OC Infiniti, so I will check them out soon too. I haven't had any experience with dealerships in LA area though, so I can't help ya there.

GL w/ the purchase.

OP it would probably depend on where the seller and his G37 is. There are also plenty of independent shops that know a thing or two about Nissan's/Infiniti's - especially in Socal - that can do a pre-purchase inspection easily. It's not a dealership-only specific service.

You're on the right track with Miller Infiniti. A big two thumbs down over here and if I were still young enough I'd go egg them a few dozen times. If the G37 is in the 818, you can take it over to CarZone. They have a thread in the Socal forums and are very thorough/inexpensive. Other people like their local shops such as Corner 3, R&J's, and RD Factory. Probably can't go wrong with any of them so check a shop out that's local to the owner/car. Socal is a pretty sprawling area.

Wow. Some great responses. Thanks all!

The seller is actually close to Miller because he forwarded me their information when I brought up the pre-inspection.

Via google, it looks like Riverside may be too far, but who knows. I was leaning toward a dealership only because I figured they might be able to inspect to "certification" standards since I was considering doing the Infiniti extended warranty.

Nonetheless, any recommendations for locations in a similar area to Miller? I'd like a few options so I can start calling around and getting options/prices.

Again, thanks for all the help guys!

Looks like I'll be getting the pre-purchase inspection done at CarZone and then I'll determine if Infiniti actually needs to inspect it as well.

Thanks a lot guys!

Good decision.

Miller has misdiagnosed more than one issue on my car. Carzone is the best and I no longer take my 2003 coupe anywhere else. 140,000 miles and still going strong.
