Help on 06-07 OEM Projector Headlight Fog light HID Installation !

Does anyone know if there is any vendor or person who is willing to do the HID installation for 06-07 projector headlight's fog light (Bulb size H1) ?

After I did some research for it, it is hard for me to do it.

So I am looking for someone to do it for me.

My location is close to Diamond Bar, Walnut, Rowland Heights, and Chino Hills.

Please let me know if you know anyone or any vendor is close to these areas.

I really wanna put on HID for my fog lights (the one on the headlights).

Thank you

Putting HID is easy... it's just plug and play...

All you have to do is find the place to mount the ballast, plug in 3 connectors together, and put in the bulbs. That's it.

For my fog lights, there is a flat head wire (positive and negative wire combined) connected to my H1 bulb.

My friend told me that I have to find the original positive and negative wires which is on the other side of the headlight and cut it from there then rewire them, so I will have the negative and positive wire for the HID.

That's why I do not know how to do it myself.

Do you know how to do it ? Like a DIY step by step ?

Anyway, Thank you for your advice

The easiest way to do it is to use the wires coming out of the fog light cap. There are three wires coming out of the fog light cap: Black, Yellow, and Yellow/Green. The black is negative, and the other two are positive. You want to tap into the Yellow wire, as that wire is for you fog lights. The yellow/green wire is for the little bulb that is always on. So don't tap into that one unless you want your HIDs to be on all the time.

Thank you for your info

Should I cut the wire outside of the cap or from inside ?

Do you know what else I need ? Like what other stuffs I need to purchase before the installation ?

Really appreciate for your help

Not that hard bro trust me. I have mine done, its just plug and play. The H1 oem bulb we have is just connected to a positive and the negative wire is connected I believe to the chasis. no need to cut anything!

Really ? Because I was looking at it online and they combined the positive and negative wires together then connected to OEM bulb.

Shouldn't I get the power from those wires to my HID ballast then connect to the HID bulb from the other wire that come along with the Kit ?

Thank you for your info
