Window Tint in SoCal

Anyone have any recommendations for a good and reliable shop in Socal that does window tint?

I prefer Ceramic Tint. Probably go with a company like Llumar, Formula One, 3M, or Huper.

All the shops I've called want from high $300 to low 400 for all around 35% ceramic tint by those companies.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You could try checking out Promax Motorsport in Alhambra. It's not in San Diego, but it's a good shop that's known for their customer service. There's a hot girl that works there too.

Sun Shield in sherman oaks, quite far from you, but I would never take my car elsewhere. They use one giant piece of film for the rear deck instead of 2 pieces like most other tint shops. Prices are competitive, idk what stuff they use. great work tho

I had my windows tinted in Arcadia. It was 80 for the fronts and they offered to do the ceramic on my windshield for 150.

Best Tint in Stanton. They use Solargard and have ceramic. Ive talked to a few tint shops and most of them regard Solargard as one of the best films available, some shops dont use it because it is more expensive and its 'thinner' which means harder to work with.

They also do tint for Cobb Tuning, Mackin Industries, Sparco and other industry cars.

I also heard good things about best tint in stanton. i usually recommend california tint in rosemead, but that's far from you. I paid a pretty penny at xlnt tint in anaheim since I live by there. but they have a "warranty" if you get a ticket or wanna go darker/lighter, you just pay 30 bucks and they take it off and put on another one free of charge. and once u use it up, you can pay the 30 bucks again and have the warranty again. good for tint tickets.

Thanks for all the advice. I'll be doing some more research and calling up some of the places you guys mentioned. I don't mind a trip to LA to get tint if it's significantly cheaper than elsewhere with good quality because the SD area is basically filled with people that don't know what a G35 looks like or gives ridiculously high prices.

There's a shop in Alhambra that specializes in strictly car tint. They work on high end cars like Mercedes and Porches. Last time I went they were working on a Mercedes and their prices are decent.
