It's all about your AGE!! I got some cheap a$$ insurance, better than paying $400 a month which Mercury was charging me for my tickets!! I got Access General, one year contract, but they insured me as If i didn't have any tickets! $200 monthly. I am 24, 2008 G35 Sedan!

Thanks for all the comments and replies guys, but seems like there isnt anything that can be done. Its either, keep current policy until next year or do a 'chimichanga mickey mouse' and risk it with my dad as the insurer.

It's hard when you're younger and I can't believe I'm saying that, 38 now. I pay $1,400.00 a year, but that's for 3 cars and 2 houses. Funny thing is that I have a '01 VW Jetta and that costs more per month than my '03 G35 Coupe!

Good luck!

Ray

It is all about age and it won't get any better until you turn 25, that's how it's alway been. Tripple A is the company to go with, if you can make the payment in one lump sum without paying monthly/quartly you can save $$ too. They give massive discounts if you have all your insurance with them and of course not having tickets is a major plus....Gary

I believe the age they consider you a 'conscious adult' for men is 30 and women 25. At least thats what pretty much everywhere Ive called told me. Im 29, and yes I have tickets, and yes I've been a conscious adult ever since as far as I can remember, way more conscious than your typical 15,18,21,25,30, and even 45+ person ever been or will be. Bloody cops just got me in a time where they were in their ticket-happy periods. (And my luck). Ive met several people that have gotten tickets for going 7mph over the speed limit, yes 7 fuken mph, are u fuken kidding me and yes I verified the ticket...... The broke azz state of cali has to make money somehow.

Im 21 & my farmers premium insurance was 1800/year but after my speeding ticket I coughed up 2400/year.

Time to renew my insurance so im in the market for other companies. Might try triple A since everyone is giving good reviews about it.
