All you have to do is go to the department that gave you the ticket with your plate mounted. A cop will walk out to your car and inspect it and sign off on the ticket. You will then go back inside to the clerk and have to pay around $25 bucks to clear the fix-it ticket. Pretty easy.

Not the DMV. The ticket will tell you which department. If the local PD gave you the ticket go there. If the sheriff gave you the ticket, go there. If you are planning on taking it back off later, do not drill holes into your bumper!

I'm pretty sure you can get it signed off at any police department.. I've have tickets I received at LAX signed off in Anaheim...another from a Diamond Bar sheriff signed off in Riverside.. so find the police department that charges less Riverside UCPD charged me less than the police department in Downtown Riverside..

That is good to know! I thought you had to get it signed off/pay fix it fee at the department that GAVE you the ticket.

Then be like other's and leave your front license plate off again and go through this whole process over and over until you've realized multiplied by $25 how many times you go through it that it could have paid for a new part for your G because you didn't like that fact of the look of having a Front License Plate

[QUOTE=tszyuenc;6726925]Hi everybody, so I got a ticket for not having front license plate./QUOTE]

Did a "Metermaid" give you the ticket or were you pulled over just for not flying the front license plate? My last ticket for not having a front plate was 1990 but it included 10 mph over and tint by our CHP. Reading the ticket will give you a clue where you need to go.

Parking Enforcement = pay the ticket and mail it......Law Enforcement = sign it off by any law enforcement department and take it back to the court clerks listed on the cite, don't risk mailing it....no biggie, doesnt go on your driving record....
