is the rain going to be a factor? Because our wheels will be wet and they might slip on the dyno rollers, right? Come on Dizz, answers, answers! =)

I answered my own questions (well, except for the time question)...You get 3 pulls for $50. If you want 1 pull to be power, 1 pull to be 0-60 and 1 pull to be 1/4 mile, Pete said that's cool. Basically, you can mix and match your 3 pulls. Also, his shop is at 800 ft above sea level, so the 1/4 runs should be really accurate. He can do the 1/4 runs with or without the Christmas tree. COME ON, let's get everyone signed up...oh, and rain will not cancel this event. Pete said the rain won't be a factor at all.

If I remember correctly, Glenn said that he usually opens up shop at 10am on Sat. But he mentioned that Pete can get there by 9am if need be.

Let's just say for now, 10am.

Randy, I'll ask Pete about wet wheels.
Edit:
Seems that Sherlock already did his homework unlike myself.

That's right Watson! Ask Pete if he ties the cars down or not...that helps with wheel slippage...

Watson says:
I remember him mentioning that he does tie the car down. Kinda has to no?
He said the fastest car he's ever dyno'd was a 810hp (mumble) and that was at WOT and it never slipped off.

Hey count me in still as well. I got some good news about my car today. They said that they pulled the plugs and cranked the motor,,,,, they had 6 geysers blowing in the shop! They've been running some tests today and will be doing a compression test just to make sure. But they did say the car seems to be running very smoth. Of course now I've been hoping for a new engine, lol. Any way, if all goes well I'll be running my own car on the dyno and not the loaner. Talk to you all,

Later,

Ray
