Glenn, Check it out man. I was out today shopping for Valentine's presents for my wife. I ended up going down this one road that got too deep for the Injen intake and apparently hydrolocked the engine. So now I'm out of commission for who knows how long. Of course I did get an '05 sedan with only 414 miles on it to cruise.

 

Is the work on your car going to be covered under warranty? Hydrolock is not a good thing you didn't try to start it up after your engine dead did you? So what are you saying you want to go out on a cruise this weekend to beat the living crap out of that loaner? LOL!!! So how does the 05 sedan feel compared to your car? Start up a new thread and start calling all the Temecula peeps to join the cruise. Let me know what you want to do I can swing for a cruise up in them hills. I wanna test out my new spacer and see what the difference is in performance.

 

I can't do a cruise this weekend, because of my sons birthday party tommorrow. But if I end up keeping the car throughout the time the car is being repaired I will definitely get a cruise going. I was planning to try for one for this month any way. Maybe the 19th or the 26th. The engine wont be covered under warranty either, I'll have to call my insurance and make a claim. The guys at Riverside Infiniti did say that they will replace the Injen for a stock intake for when the insurance adjuster comes for inspection. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that it all turns out o.k. I don't want to have to pay the $11,000.00 out of my own pocket. Oh, and they gave me that figure from some ladies sedan that was hydrolocked during the last storm. Her insurance covered it, and they I think where smaller than mine (Progressive).
