Close to buying a 6MT CPE

I am looking to buy a DG 6MT cpe with stone interior but I feel like the salepeople are trying to screw me over. They keep telling me how hot this car is but at the same time they tell me that sales have been slow lately. Is it possible for me to pick one up for around $500 over invoice? I am willing to drive to any dealership in SoCal. Please help me out. I desperately want this G but I cannot afford to pay anywhere near MSRP.

Thanks!

Just look around and wait for them to budge. The G35c isn't THAT new anymore... When I bought mine in Fall 03 it was a different story.. DAMN MSRP.

actually the dealers bearly have any 6MTs... your best bet is do what i did.. call up 5-6 dealers and somehow let them know you're talking to 5-6 of them by saying "well i went to blahblah dealer a few days ago and checked out the graphite interior" and just tell them to call u back when they find the model you want and can offer it for the price you want. Basically dealer vs dealer.. the cerritos and some other infiniti and metro/montclare NEVER deal with each other so theres an advantage to use... it is true what they said.. sales ARE slow right now all the sales guys in the dealer were drinking coffee and eatting doughnuts when i went in. If you want to give montclare a call just PM me, the guy i talk to there is honest about what he has in the lot and does not have.. as for price.. just be happy that you'll pay below MSRP lol

unless your just ordering.. then thats different..

It looks like a lot of dealers have the exact car that I want (some dealers have 2 or 3). I guess my taste is very generic. One dealer gave me $1500 over invoice but I declined. Does anybody know what prices people are paying for a 6MT cpe with just the premium package?

I don't know about prices (just bought mine using VPP), but there seem to be a lot more automatics with the premium package, so they may be more flexible on prices for those. I got the 6MT with no package, and it was much harder to find (maybe 1 per dealer). When talking to the salesman, he suggested that Tues-Thurs were the best days to buy. Monday and the weekends are a little more busy. My advice is to wait 'til month end, and then go in to a dealer 1 hour before they close on a Wednesday night. Then you'll be more likely to get the price you want.

Even if you wait I don't think you'll get $500 over invoce. I think $1000 under MSRP is a very good deal these days if you can get that, especially for 6MT.

NoSoup4U... if you are ready to buy and want the best price & are in SoCal... PM me. I have your contact for much less than MSRP.

PM me only if you are ready to buy. Don't blow my connection with endless questions and hassles at the dealership. You know what you want, you name the price I'll give you and they'll sell the car.

that easy.
