Stupid rain caused potholes, and bend my rims anything we can do?

how many of us hit a pothole bending your rims?
i heard you can file a claim and they will pay for it?
can anyone with any info please post,

yes this is true, but a pain in the a$$. it takes anywhere form 8 months to a year to acutally get the money in your hand.

you have to file a complaint to the city and take pics of the pothole and your rim

it'll take some time for them to pay you, but in the end you'll still get your money =)
