Guys, I think I'm gonna take the plunge and go for the premier membership.

This way I can find some kind of refuge from all the language lessons on the "Premier" boards.

I'll let you guys know how it is...

I'm kinda excited to have an avatar, but the one thing that I'm really excited about is that I won't miss any more death threats and keyboard courage I get sent via PM.

Pay to play...

I am going to do it also. I have been planning to anyway.

Having run and payed for a board covering another subject, I know the work, and money required. Also I clearly get a lot from this board

I might do it also. Getting tired of having to watch my back from the G35Driver Gestapo.

Yes, its costs money to run a board. But does it cost $30/person? No. With close to 19,000 members, if only 1,000 people paid (a little over 5% of the total members) that would be $30,000. Does it even cost that much to run a board for a year? No. And not to mention all the board sponsors/vendors that pay also.

The high cost is the main reason I haven't done it yet. Most other large boards I go on are still free, and if they do charge its only maybe $5-10 MAX. $30 to post some BS online = RIP OFF.

Thats my 2¢

I think you should pay for the premium. Besides we all have to listen to all of your wonderful achievements and your common sense approach on things. Damn dude for an old fart like me you know you got to pay to play. Is this fun or what? Oh ya what type of coffee do you recommend?
