Different things i saw on the weekend

Man I have never seen those large moldings on a G before. Aren't the narrow moldings on some G's installed by the dealer? Regardless, I think they look like crap.

Some how, it looks like it wasn't made for the G because of it doesn't line up with the door edge. Between this molding and the molding from the dealer, this one has a little more style to it.

I remember reading a post a while back where someone made his own moldings. he bought a role of molding from like autozone or something, got business card magnets from office depot and painted them to match. I thought it is a great idea! Slap them on when you park at the mall or something and then take them off when you leave and throw them in the trunk! I tried searching for the thread but could not find it. If anyone can find it, please direct me to it

if you have any dirt on your car when you put the strip on and parked and someone does open a door into your molding then it'll leave scratches.

I remember the molding being an option when you buy the car. I, personally would pay money for them to keep it off my car.
