By this time, you really have nothing to do unless you got his info and knock his door to get back your money. Law enforcement, cops.... totally BS, they wont do **** for you, because your $400 something. I got scammed few times about 3-4 years ago from ebay. I will say that you 'd be very careful to check seller's rating before you deal with them, even though he has perfect feedbacks, but doesnt mean he's trustable, "price too good, means not good" and also money orders always trouble. Honestly, as now I will only deal with good rating seller who accepts paypal payment from ebay. Paypal protects buyers more than sellers. G354GOD, sorry to hear your story, I'm just here to share my experience, good luck with your money and be very careful next time on ebay.

Hey Brian.... 15 mins away, eh? That is good to know, my friend....

Okay, we'll hold off on paying him a visit until next week... he promised to send me my money back... according to him, I'll be getting the money in the mail in the next 3 business days. I will give him until Wednesday of next week.... if I don't receive the money order, then I'm going to request that one of our buddies pays him a visit....

Thanks again everyone for you help with this matter.... I will DEFINITELY learn from this mistake....

Never again...

Mark

Hmmm, if you lost the receipt, that may be the end of it. However, if I remember correctly, fraud involving a post office money order is a federal crime. May want to try contacting the Postmaster General. A letter from the feds that a complaint involving a federal crime has been made just might shake your $$ loose. Also, a scam over the internet may also violate federal wire and mail fraud laws, which have some big, nasty teeth. Consider trying to file a small claims action here, a judgmet issued here is likely to be enforceable in Ohio, although not having a home address may be a problem. You may be able to get the guy's home address from his license plate by sending the Ohio DMV a copy of the judgment.
