Here's something I had high hopes for in the past. Get enough interest and participation from fellow 350Z/G35 owners for our own Class. Speed Venture's more than happy to host the scoring tallies for us. They also have an existing point system already worked out that gives or take away from individual with varying mods. In effect, leveled the playing field to some degree. All that is needed is a bit more show of interest on our part (as a community). That doesn't imply any of us are obligated to attend track events all the time ... just enough for them to find it worth while to do.

I think we may have just enough regulars to get this rolling. More people will sure follow suit once they see a little bit more 'fun' introduced into the sport. At worse, we could also take matter into our own hands and whip up a website that keep tracks of the 'scoring' ... borrwoing the official times posted by Speed Ventures. What do yall think?

Clint,

I'm also in support! (Even if I'm not in the same class as you and Ed.)

Tony

Well ... Ed's in Uber Class!!! We're all bottom feeders in comparison.

All ya need is a some springs/shocks and a set of conservatively sized R compound tires and you're right there w. me.

We'll come up w. a system to even out the playing field and when not possible or fair, we'll simply created different sub-classes (much like what Speed Ventures has already done).

Great idea Clint! I'm down for sure. You know me. Any more excuses to get out there on the track. Also I like the idea of running regularly with people I know (meaning less chances of encountering nozzle drivers), cars in the same class sans mods, and just plain uber G35 goodness.

Just ONE week away folks!

I can hardly wait. Start doing all necessary inspection and/or preparation works.

I say we skip the BBQ this time. We'll save it for the next big one. Beside, lunch's FREE now w. Speed Ventures.

Vrooom Vrooom!!!

Also, let's think of a nice little place where we can really sit down and have dinner then chat over a couple of brews!

Did you decide to upgrade your brake pads too?

Careful w. the harness ... not recommended unless you have a roll-cage. In the unlikely event of a roll over, you could do massive head and neck trauma as the roof collapse.
