Well, if someone can hijack my thread to promote their event... I'm gonna hijack my own thread to promote another one of mine.
Hey Rob, go to the Temecula Nissan/Infiniti/Datsun show in Temecula this Sunday!
And as it seems we don't have a huge number of signups for Friday nite Drags, so I won't be bringing the Transport sponsored trophies. However, i will be running in the trophy break outs, so hopefully those that do show will want to give it a shot too!
cheers, ted

I was there... and schooling traffic!
Rever, G35Lin, zazaracing and a few other G35 Lurkers were there. Had a couple of Z's from the My350 board, too.
The best I could run was a 15 flat. I had some pronblems with the tranny coming over the Crest where it wouldn't shift (up or down) in MM. the issue reared it's head in my first trophy run, where I slammed it hard in the rev limiter (I thought I had forgot to put it into MM and was "shifting" into Neutral! Man, that sucked. I had to pop into D to finish the race as a full built Charger romped on past
Temps ranged from around 90 at 5p to mid/high 80's at sunset and around 80 by the last couple of runs. A LOT of cars out there last friday night, as it was High School night (special trophy run category)
Anyway, got about 9 runs in. I'll probably write up my findings of how my 19's, Direzza's, e-cutouts, and exta weight/weight saved all factored and felt.... but for now I gotta clean up the car and head to Temecula for the ZCCIV show.
Cheers, Ted
