Sorry. This one is specifically targeting the 05 6MT's.

Anybody want to test a new type of plenum mod on their 05 6MT? The mod is ready for test, it just needs a vehicle to dyno it. I predict substantial gains with this one.

 

I'd let you use mine Tony, but I need to break it in first.

Hmmm... My AT has no manual clutch (obviously)... Do you MT guys really need cooling there? Am I off-track? (no pun intended)

Damn it Tony! What’s up your sleeve???… I love the 1/2" spacer as well as the lower to upper plenum Isothermal gasket… thus far your plenum coolant valve has been doing well (*temp gauge is actually just under a notch cooler, under-hood palpable plenum temp readings in progress). *footnote: ATF cooler could be helping <installed at the same time as valve> (Thanks DaveO!). BTW, pre-coolant valve (just gasket) resulted in lower plenum temp readings but temp gauge in cabin didn’t reduce (not expected, but an answer before possible questions).

ANYWAY - Tony… This “MT Only” gizmo you speak of… Is it the torque mod you mentioned prior?... If so, you just shot me in the heart! I need TQ!!!!

 

wait. is this 6MT mod only for 05 + ? or will my 03.5 get one as well. =)
