Plastic piece on the bottom of the Engine bay..

Is that an important piece.. hehe mines dangling...

yes... not only does it provide some aerodynamics, but it sheilds debris and water from getting up into your engine bay...

As you say Randy, the "undercover" provides better aerodynamics by keeping air from getting trapped under the front end and lifting the car at speed. On some cars the hood actually bows up at high speed due to pressurization of the engine bay.

Its horribly annoying to remove during oil changes but its worth it to keep it on there

cut it.. then go find another plastic thing and cut a cover for it.. drill some holes and use those push in bolts and u can completely cover ur engine bay as well as cutting 5min off ur oil changes
