team transport is always welcoming to those members of G35driver that want to try the show scene without being an official member of a team.
Let us know if you'd like to roll with us at SD.
You can register your car here: HID San Diego Registration and then shoot me a PM for the load in info. You must be able to be in SD on Friday afternoon.
Make sure to register your team affiliation as Team Transport so that you can load in with us.
After the event, if the show scene is something you'd like to get more involved with, you can opt to join the team if you want.
Cheers, Ted

Kamal,
There are many advantages to joining a team. Group discounts on hotel rates, prefered show areas, team sponsorships (which usually end up offsetting your dues), press coverage (there is a good chance for Street Fury/G4 TV to come by again),....etc.
Its alot of hard work (preparing for a show) but if its something you're in to its well worth it. No need to try your first show out alone. You can do your first show with us for free. Then decide if you'd like to join.

Transport's dues are the lowest of any of the established teams out there. Wen we have enough folks going to a show, we can work discounts on registration, as well as getting preferred placement/load-in. We are also always at work with our vendor/sponsor relations.
The fees we collect pay for food for the group (usually breakfast, lunch or both for the team)... this runs about $125 or more per show.
Then there's the EZ ups/tent, banners and decals. Decals run around $6 to $15 each.
Then there's power for the indoor shows ($80 to $120 per show)
Website/domain registration..~$125 year
We also do the Toys for Tots car show at the end of the year and that costs involves trophies, insurance and other fees. ~$500
This year we also got patches for team shirts, jackets & hats. Also we'll have a give away at HID ... Team Transport tattoos. I think Rever and Avo are jumping up and down to be the official tat application specialists for the models
In any case, the "show scene" isn't for everyone, but its a good time. You can try the first show without joining us, but you will have to register with HID and that will cost you $48.50. (the average show fee is $40 + handling)
Cheers, Ted
P.S. if anyone can do the math to make a team work without dues, (or without a rich team member that doesn't mind supporting the whole team, let me know!) ... or just give me the email of a rich team member.

well, there are tons of teams out there, so make sure to take a look at them all when you are ready to start showing.
or, be a one man army and show independently, then there will be no team fees!
Cheers, ted
P.S. door is still open to anyone that wants to give the show scene a try at HID, San Diego. Hurry though, as registration is sure to close soon.
