How many miles do you guys get on a full tank of gas? I use 91 octane and on a good tank, I get 400 miles. Usually when I'm down to the last quarter tank, I have about 300 miles (most the time less).

 

my milage is crap...

I usually get 280 out of a tank...I thought something was wrong but Monday i took a trip from San Diego to LA and i got about 360 to the tank...decent I guess...I do a lot of street driving.

 

310 (Pedal to the Metal)
350 (normal behavior)
375 (good behaviour)

I think the question here is, what is a full tank?

For me, I filled up the most 17.89 gallons, I would assume maybe half a tank was left in there already which would bring me to 18.39, but this is still short of the "20" gallon tank specified.

 

i would think if u fill up 17-18 gallons into your car, that's already being on empty because the light is already turning on or has been on for a bit...

i pumped gas about 2 weeks ago, filled it up with 17.5 gallons i beleive and it gave me about 300 miles with alot of street driving.

 

Geebus, you squeezed 400 miles out of your tank?! I can barely get 300... But then, I don't drive freeway alot.

 

I think youre misleading yurself...

"to the tank", does that mean u drive yur car til it stalls and runs out of gas?? or do u calculate it? cause the gas meter(?) is completely innacurate!

...or does yur stock navi tell you this??

(280 = 14 mpg, which is impossible)

 

i consistently get 360-380 before i fill up. fill up is usually around 17.5-18 gallons. This is about 50/50 city/hwy. With 100% hwy i'll get to 420-430 before i fill up... 18 gallons or so. I range between 18-24mpg.

 

LOL I hate you all I know get 200 miles per tank on good behavior with very little playtime . And I fill up 15 gallons so I guess I can a little more but I dunno cause my E Light turns on at ****in 180-190- miles so I never no how much gas is really in the tank.

 

believe it or not, but this topic of how much gas is left in the tank and how far you can go with what you got, was a seinfeld episode where kramer was driving a new car (i think?) with the salesman as his passenger and seeing how far it would go, til it died. iim gonna do this one day, and of course ill leave an extra gallon in my trunk so i wont be completely stranded...

the most gas ive filled up for my car (03.5 sedan) is about 18.8 gallons or so. i get about 350-385 miles for each fill-up. however im not sure when my light pops up, whether at 16 or 17 gallons used.. i just figger i got about 50-60 miles before im SOL..
