can anyone recommend me a place to have springs installed? anywhere near LA area will do fine. i am very clueless about doing this, can someone tell me how much i should expect to pay for spring installation only? any advise will be appreciated.

It's unanimous, go to Street Image. I also got my springs installed there and I called around quite a bit. Their price and service can't be beat and they cater specifically to G's and Z's. You definitely won't regret it.
