Any of you SoCal crazies wanna go sky-diving with me?

Good feedback G35_Anonymous ...
For the newbies, the scare factor does kick-in during the ascent inside the plane to 12,5000 ft. (AGL) At an average of half an hour (30 min.), it's a slow ride up to drop altitude, giving you plenty of time to think, "Mommy ... where are you?", "What have I done!", "Where's the abort button?". LMAO!
Things start to tense when you see the bay door slams open followed by a quick taste of weightlessness, as the plane levels off. It's all business from then on. Fortunately, there is no backing out of a tandem jump because you and the instructor are of Siamese; stuck together. He goes ... you go!
Indeed there are very little sense of speed other than a quick drop in the stomach followed by a whole lot of wind in your face. If you can get over that ... and start looking around like Drewer mentioned, it is a beautiful thing! The best part IMHO begins when the canopy opens and you soar effortlessly through the sky for the next 4-5 minutes like a bird.
I was the first out of the plane for my last drop and sebsquently the first to reach terminal veloctiy. I then looked up and saw one of my buddy shooting through the sky free-falling at speed; all in reference to the plane in the back drop. That was HOT! Got a real good sense of speed there!!!
Just as soon as I free up some time ... let's all do this!
