and i think the freakin bag had barf in it!!! sick! my car started to smell really bad on the freeway and i thought it was the trucks in front of me and when i stopped at a signal my car started to smoke and it started to smell like burnt toast! now my Y pipe and mid pipe is all burnt with this crap! anyway i can get the pieces of burnt plastic off?

you can scrape them off...I made my dealership fix it! HA! But the smell sticks around for a while after. No way to really eliminate the smell completely

same thing happened to me bro....sucks....smelled like something burning...thought it was something in the air...but smell was still there even after i drove to another city...then i took a look at the bottom and it was stuck at the y pipe =(

It never completely burns off. It will look like a bunch of little dots when it has burned off but you actually have to scrape it off or the smell will never completely go away. Mine was scraped off about 2 weeks ago and the smell is a lot less.

Get a real good undercarriage wash. Maybe if you put it on a lift and scraped, sprayed it with a high power hose, and all kinds of cleans like Febreze and ammonia it will come off?

That happened to me but it got stuck in my front left brake..happened on the freeway and as I started to brake on the off ramp i thought i was gonna crash once i felt how the brakes were working...scary :\
