any of you guys getting any sqeeling from the hotchkis??? im getting a sqeeling kind of noise and never thought it would be the sways, but after reading this thread...maybe. the sways move side to side right, so why would i get a sqeeling when im coasting like at 30mph? is it something else? at first i thought it was the rear axle problem....but i also hear it up front.....

i think when we installed these (at Glenn's place), someone brought mobil 1 lube.....according to the post from GregGSC on

http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthre...t=hotchkis+fix
"In response to posts regarding noise from the bushings, try using marine grade lube in wet climates. For synthetic lubes do not use Mobile 1. We have found it deteriorates quickly at higher temperatures and runs out of the bushings. In addition bushing noise will increase in colder climates as the poly urethane contracts. We offer the greasable bushing in the rear, but unfortunately due to the necessity of running a factory front bracket, the front bushing is not greasable and needs periodic lubing."

Hotchkis says that we're not suspose to use the Mobil 1 synthetic lube.... how could i fix there? do I have to remove the synthetic lube i put on but applying another kind of lube?

what kind of lube are you guys using?

Don't think they meant it in a sense your entire car's warranty is voided.

i think he means that just cuz u changed ur sways, it doesnt mean it shud void other things i.e. springs shocks tire feathering axle clicking etc. that has to do with suspension.

WARNING: This is gonna be harsh

Okay... STOP.
You're sounding like a FUGGIN MORON.
1. You're not going to sell your sways.
2. If it will give you peace of mind, you'll get the collars installed.

About Infiniti Stealership Service Departments:
First off, more than half of the techs at the stealership service center are inept.
Secondly, they're there to make money.

They're not there to be your friend.
They're not there to "hook" you up.
They're there to service the pansies that go in, and get work done.
Once in a while, they'll always try to pull a fast one over you.
It's a way they milk extra money from you.
They'll play the "VOID YOUR WARRANTY" card to make it a hard sell.

Fact of the matter is, they can't void CRAP!
ONLY Infiniti of America can your warranty.
If they say they're gonna charge you for work done, since it was out of warranty, due to the fact that you have a certain mod on your car, it's BS.
They have to prove that the mod messed up something.
Without proof, they must honor warranty.
If they refuse, take down the guy's name, which dealership, ask him if he'll put what he said in writing and sign it. If he does, he's a$$ed out.
Don't let 'em work you.

Keep the sways bro.
Continue with the mods.
Don't let them fuggers at the service dept work you over like that.
Be a MAN!

DRU
(aka Hater of Crooked Service Departments)

PS: There are good ones out there. Just haven't come across one yet.

wassup vq35dej. .haha met u at street image, remember me? And wassup to you meechin Just wanted to join in on the fun. I usually bring my car to metroinfiniti (in monrovia) and there are 3 service reps. 2 of them are awesome about mods (especially ross) the other dood is chris, and the last dood is David (total jerk off). So just giving a heads up to a cool delearship.. maybe they're just nice to me but they haven't given me any problems on warranty replacement (door lock jam, window jam, gave me a new tb all diff types of work..)
