Oomasa in Jtown (Japanese + sushi bar) CASUAL

El Pollo Inka: http://www.elpolloinka.com CASUAL
(preferrably the original in Gardena, but the Torrance location has pretty good entertainment at night)

Diana's Mexican Food Restaurant http://dianas.net (CASUAL)
16330 Pioneer Boulevard, Norwalk, CA 90650 -or-
6035 Pacific Blvd, Huntington Park, CA 90255 -or-
2905 N. Durfee Ave., El Monte CA 91732 -or-
300 E. Sepulveda Blvd., Carson CA 90745 (This loc called La Bonita)

Old school mexican food.. Most of the better mexican restaurants out there actually buy their tortillas from them, as they are a butcher and tortilla factory too.

Socalted: I beleive the original Pollo Inka is the Lawndale one, just never try to eat there during lunch,t this place gets packed.

Dianas in Carson is the original and is open 24 hours now.

If you don't mind hole in the wall type of Mexican places(more authentic)try Tepechi in Wilmington on Avalon.,great Birria(goat meat)

El Picante in Bell Gardens on Florence belongs to a friend of mine and they serve good Chilaquiles and Menudo, he also does catering .
