Thats a neat way to get out of your death sentence, just (ghost write) some books and turn your ways around. He killed 4 people in cold blood. 1 guy at a some store, and 3 family members at a restraunt. I am sure he spent the rest of his time going back and forth to church. I think its great the positive things that he has done since then, but 2 rights dont make a wrong... :my lights just dimmed:

We kill people who kill people to show that killing is wrong...isn't that a bit ironic? I don't care what you did, there is nothing in LIFE that should allow a man (or a group of people) to decide the fate of another man's life. He's in prison. He's a POS, he's the lowest of the low, he's deserve's to suffer for what he's done, blah blah blah, I agree with all that. But killing is against the law, and it should be against the law for all people. Anywayz, I went to a Kings game tonight and the destroyed them boys from the Lou (St. Louis)...

our wonderful liberal society requires us to house/clothe/feed, educate people who commit murders and other crimes. What we need to do (if we abolish the death penalty) is to punish them. Not in the liberal sense that we American's punish, but in the same manner most other countries do. That means, no cable TV, no steak dinners, no choice of veggies, etc. It should not cost the tax payers more money to to house a crimnal, than it costs to house our own families. The cost to house a criminal should equal the standard of living of those who are at the poverty line.
btw: If any of you read the LA Times yesterday, Tookie's first victim was an ex Army soldier. Aperently this victim had no criminal history whatsoever. His next 3 victims were a Korean family. The daughter was 42 yrs old. The parents significantly older. My question to you all. Tookie showed no compassion when he killed those people. Shouldnt he expect the same lack of compassion from those who now hold his life in their hands?
(I'm not one to believe that there are as many victims in this world as the rest of our extremely liberal society. We bring on to ourselves what comes on to us. Except in the case of that ex Army soldier and that Korean family. They were victims. Tookie is a product of his own actions).
