Who would be down for Skydiving? Sometime this December. Exact date to be determined, but I'm look at around the weekend before Christmas, or maybe sometime during the week after. Whos down?

Cost: $189 tandem, $279 solo (AFF)
Video Coverage: $75 VHS, $99 DVD (either include roll of still photos too)
When: Wednesday, December 28th, 2005 -TENTATIVE-
Where: San Bernadino
What: Skydiving! Tandem or solo (AFF).

TANDEM - This is where you go to 15-30 mins of instructions. Then you are strapped together with an instructor. You guys jump out of the plane together, during freefall and landing, you can choose to let the instruction do all the control and you just enjoy the ride. Or you can try to maneuver with instructors directions.

SOLO - You can go solo. It costs more. You must go to 5-6hrs or class before the jump. This is where you jump out of the plane with 2 instructors by your side (but not strapped together, they just jump at the same time as you).

 

If you're SERIOUSLY intrested, please let me know what dates work best for you. I need to start to setup dates and make appointments.

I can go pretty much anyday, but I know most people work. Weekdays would be better cuz its less crowded, it will probably be faster and we'll have better chances of all getting on the same plane.

For those of you planning to jump solo. I'm planning to take all the solo people a day or two in advance to take our class. So that way the day of the jump we can all jump together from the same plane with the tandem people too.

So please, post your availiblility!

didn't we already go through this on another thread?... Is this a new attempt or still working on the one from a few months back? (that one apparently fizzled).

 

I don't know about the other one. This one is pretty solid. I'm already going to go, just wanted to see if anyone else might be intrested in going too since I don't yet have a set date on it.

 

I think Drewer was putting the other one together... Several people said they were it (including me) but I guess it fizzled. I'm interested in this one depending on date.

In Dec - any weekend other than the first one (3rd-4th).

Uh oh.. the 10th and 11th are out for me too... Dyno Day in SD on the 10th and Team Transports Toys for Tots on the 11th.

Guess I'm not gonna be skydiving in December unless you want to do it 17th or 18th. The next two weekends are holidays - not a prob for me, but others might have issues (are they even jumping at this place on Xmas and New Year weekend?)

 

Muff diving as about as far as I will go.

 

While skydiving would be a blast!!!

 

OK guys. We've got a tentative jump date. Its going to be on Wednesday, December 28th, 2005. If this day is good for you, let me know if you're in. Also if you wanna go solo or tandem. If this day is NOT god for you, let me know which days will be good, so I can see who can/can't make it and when is most convenient for everyone. This way the date can be adjusted accordingly if necessary. Please also if you have MySpace, chim in on the blog, it will make it easier to keep track of everything for me.

Let us know when you find out your work schedule. I might try to rearrange things if need be. But so far only 1 person said they can't make that day and preffer a weekend. But the weekend before is Christmas and New Years is the following.
