We got 8 cars showing and 12 members attending. That'll teach some folks not to register when the window's open! Dang procrastinators!

 

Look for me in the carib. blue g35 coupe along side an evo wrx and 330i.

 

Also, just heard that there will in fact be an Infiniti (if not G35) category. Seems we're seeing regular number of G's at the shows now... and not all of them are in Team Transport!

I just came back from that place, man, was I disappointed.
There were only a few good hot cars, most of them were POS.
I didn't even bother taking any pictures.
A black G sitting next to some trophies whos owner looked like he had an attitude problem and didn't give a **** about anyone. (Got Mac or something like that.)

Saw the TT girls out at the front gate handing out fliers, not bad.

$18 entry fee + $7 parking, what a waste.

a2ncharm23 - you were with JDMConnection or something like that? I think you were cooling in the parking lot with us at Team Transport.

G35Luver - Black G coupe next to a bunch of trophies I think was from Kallusive? Next to purple G sedan?

Major thumbs down to mainstream and the showoff people. F*** them. Poor organization left me along with transport THE absolute last to get in, leaving us literally outside of the show. As in outside of the entarance along with some other cars... Waste of time and money. Attendance was low as stated and by 5:30 95% of the people walking around looking at cars were all competitors, not speculators. Oh well, lesson learned.. congrats to 6mtpnut for winning infiniti showoff.

When did Import Showoff become Falken Showoff classic? Maybe that's why it sucked

 

IMHO it sucked because of how the organizer, Mainstream, ran it. The politics and favoritism were truely noteable. One team "bought" the majority of trophies due to their sheer number of entries. I won't attend another one of Mainstream's events.
