Why dont you just work at McDonalds full time and keep that 16K a year. After taxes, 45K aint $hit...trust me on that.

Holy Crap 45K a year in San Deigo is like 95K in Texas. Can you really live on 45K a year?

well I just turned 23 and live with my parents and owe under 10k in school loans so 45k is enough for me, till i move upwards within the company. Most of the money i'm going to be making is going towards my future business and investments . 45k may not mean alot to you but it's alot for me at this time in my life. Please find me a job, thanks.

Find me a job that i'm interested in and i'll write you a promissory note of 1000 dollars to be paid in 5 installments within a year.

It's alot easier with networking. I got my foot in the door cause my uncle is the founder of one of the largest commercial real estate companies on the west coast so we'll see what happens. I like how you said promissory note..hahaha.. come on man, keep the dough for yourself.. survival of the fittest kid... don't worry, there's plenty of jobs out there...

You've probably done this already, but just a suggestion. Check out http://www.northropgrumman.com/. (I think the site's down till 12/1/05 though.)

i'm with patrick here. a job isn't going to just fall in your lap, even by pleading with members here. get the help you need so you can actively look for a job instead of expecting someone to just give you one. work on your resume, identify some areas you would be interested in working in and start applying and interviewing.

Nope, I don't work there but I've met a couple of people who do, so I know they have a pretty big office in SD. Though I agree with the rest, asking for help can't hurt, as long as you don't depend on that to get you places.

(and you probably didn't look at my sn, but p.s. - i'm not a guy...)

It's not that i'm begging for a job to be given to me, i thought that maybe i could network through the forums for a decent job. I have been looking and interviewing for jobs, it's that i'm always planning ahead. I'm at a point in my life where i'm willing to start from the bottom and move up. There are alot of companies that hire but they don't promote.

Sorry, if it seems that i'm begging. It's my humility that is showing.
