How often? When, at acceleration, startup, idle, at a light? Does it do it more when its cold, hot, doesn't matter? Does it matter how long you drive it before this happens?

More details, please...

If your MAF is broken, then you should have the service engine soon light turn on. Is it on?

my friend's does the same thing....after a long drive and he turn it off....when he comes to turn it on, it turns off imedialtely after...he doesnt have an intake...we suspected MAF but does the check engine light come on when the MAF sensor is BAD or when MALFUNCTIONING? There is a difference here.

go read the recall info on the infiniti website, they have problems for some 03's about the engine shutting off. the dealer should fix this problem for and don't take that bull**** about the injen being the problem. i have the injen cai and i've had no problems. just check the recall bulletin.

You should unplug the MAF then compare and contrast the engine's idle behavior with the previous symptoms.

Be sure you know how to do the pedal ECU reset before you unplug the MAF and start the engine. You will have to do the pedal ECU reset after you let the car idle with the MAF unplugged.

Go to the dealer first - make them exercise the bulletin - then see what happens. Could also be a fuel delivery issue.

Just buy the OEM intake and take your car to another dealer. Play it off as it you never had the injen intake.
