New G Owner and another Irvine Resident!

Folks -

Been lurking here and waiting for my G35. Finally picked up an immaculate 2004 G35 DG/AT (wife can't drive manual) from a fellow Irvine resident.

Just wanted to say hello and announce my presence.

Been joining various auto forums as my vehicles have changed and this may be the first car I own where I WON'T DO ANY MODS.....

(started with a '91 Acura Integra, went on to '95 Nissan Maxima SE, '94 Acura Legend Coupe went on to an '02 Yukon XL <-- fun while it lasted but gas was killing me and now this).

Stock alone on this car is nice for me. I still enjoy going out to the garage and admiring the car (I've only had it for 1 week) Love the stock exhaust, etc.

Gotta admit though, reading the posts here does awaken my mod bug (must be my Asian blood) but since I got married and reluctantly given the wife control and absolute final say on the finances, I'm not counting on getting the approval for modding the G35. (Why did I do it? 'Cause knowing me and the endless money I've thrown into my cars, I'd be living in a cardboard box, while enjoying driving my car).

Anyways, if you see a DG Coupe driving around Irvine in the Woodbury area, give me a honk. So far, I count 6 coupes in my neighborhood and they've only built a quarter of the homes in our new development.

I'm gonna take a wild, completely uneducated guess and say it's Tagalog.

And hey, welcome to Irvine - there's already waaaaay too many G's at UCI
