I just got popped tonight.

I was heading westbound on Sepulveda and made a right onto Western.
As i'm heading northbound, i'm on my merry way.
I then see a dark object (resembling a pig-pen on wheels) scurry up behind me.
It cuts off the car behind me to squeeze in.
I see the red and blue pig ears and ease off the throttle and maintain my speed.
I dart down to see i'm within speed limit.
We come to a red light, it turns green, i head on, and the lights go on.
I'm like "what the hell do you want?"
I pull over.

OINKER: "sir, do you know why we pulled you over"
DRU: ''no, why was i pulled over?"
OINKER: "you have a modified exhaust"
DRU: "it's within legal sound restrictions, officer"
OINKER: "you can't have a modified exhaust, period."

so then oinky proceeds to look over my car.
asks me to roll up my windows and goes up front to see my non-existant front plate.
he comes back to tell me that he's gonna let me slide with the tint and the no front plate but he's gonna have to get me for the "modified exhaust"

DRU: "why thank you officer, i really appreciate that" (UBER SARCASM)

gee, he lets me off of 2 $10 fix-it tickets and nails me with a non-correctable infraction.

How F-in gay is that!

i guess in oinky's world, they're all modified which means they're illegal.

i believe thats how much a fix-it ticket would cost. non-correctable violations have a higher fine and can't simply be written off.

 

if its a non correctable do you just pay the fine and keep it on???

 

DAMN!! Sorry DRU, I just installed the same exhaust. I asked my cop friend while playing an illegal poker game with him, what would happen if I got popped for any exhaust mods, and he said its a fix it ticket. I will ask him about the 'not correctable' part and get back to you.

 

Wow dude i would get pissed also if a pig stopped me for my exhaust.
