i never used these.

Assuming these sit on top of the tophat, between the shock and the body?

i think they sit under the hat.
I don't know for sure. never used it, and never intended to use it

between the spring and the hat? I guess just like the OEM ones, only about 1/3 the thickness lol.

I think in this form they're called spring isolators.

Any idea why there's 8 of them?

If they are what I think they are, I want 'em, just trying to get some input here...

You stack em up each side.
These prevent the a arms to bottom out and hit the inside of the wheel well.

Ah, I see, That explains the thickness difference. Well, I pulled mine out when I put the new springs on, and ****'s been clunking like crazy, so that explains that *Face-Palm-Noobness*
