Oh, well then you're in good shape. With kinetix UCAs your car will feel like a brand new beast. The biggest difference will be the C-rod bushings tho. It makes your steering feel so much better. If you plan on doing UCAs tho, I'd do it all at the same time. Can't tell you how many times I took apart the same thing over and over cuz I was excited to get the parts on. Shocks/struts, springs, control arms, compression rods, ball joints, UCAs, toe bolts. Ruined many a Saturday. Haha

Upper control arms. You may notice your tires wear on the inside up front. That's because the upper a-arm (control arm) is too short to push the top of the wheel out enough which means its tilted inward (negative camber). When you get adjustable UCAs you push the top of the wheel out (postive camber) which evens out the bottom of the wheel. This makes it so the whole tire touches the ground (more contact patch).

When your whole tire touches the ground you get even tire wear, but moreover you get more control because you have more rubber on the ground, as well as a smoother ride because you have more tire to absorb bumps/cracks in the road.

 

Yeah, I have the spc camber kits.. I don't think I can upgrade the upper bushings on them..

 

You can. That's why I mentioned kinetix arms. They come with energy bushings installed. You can buy the bushings separately tho for $20 I think. Not that big of a deal tho. The arms are the main importance.

 

I'll check the condition of them when I do my lower bushings.. I can do them at a later time, they aren't that difficult to get to..

 

I wouldn't worry about it. SPC is a fine company. It's Infiniti that gave us the crap bushings.

Im bumpin again cuz all ya'll need these even if you're stock height. Let me know your thoughts. Are they too expensive? Or is it just something you don't believe you need? Are you more interested in doing the work yourself? I'm trying to figure out why people aren't buying them. It's really a necessary thing.

That's understandable. I'm just trying to figure out why people aren't buying em. They correct multiple problems and are convenient as a package. Just trying to feel out the base of potential buyers. I want to keep selling these cuz it could give people a great/convenient alternative to doing all the legwork themselves and/or having old ball joints in the compression rod, but I'm not gonna keep buying them if people won't be interested in fixing the prob. Just wondering if people are interested, and if so how should I shape my sales pitch/point/price to be advantageous for everyone. If no ones interested that's cool too, but I'm gonna sell the equipment and parts seperately if not. Really just asking for insight at this point cuz the poly bushing and a new balljoint is something that is very necessary for the best possible performance.

I landed up buying the black energy bushings for the compressor rods. After installing I realized they make a RED and BLACK compound. Apparently the BLACK is harder? Mine make tons of noise on a warm day. I can hear it inside the car mainly going over uneven parking lots or speed bumps. In normal driving the exhaust drowns it out. Have you have this issue with the RED bushings? The noise didn't start until 6 months after install. It's too much of a pain to try and regrease them every few months.

 

Have had no creaking issues. I have them swimming in grease tho. They've really gotta be greased well. I have the black ones in my LCA and also no issues. But again, swimming in grease. I do have the red in my UCA with a lot less grease and they creak in cold weather.

Like when greasing you shouldnt worry about keeping it neat. It needs to be super messy.
