Which bushing are you referring to exactly? The compression rod and front inner control arm bushings eventually tear because they are rubber. The front outer control arm bushing will swell at the bottom from the constant forces it receives from the front struts which support the weight of the vehicle. These are all reasons to upgrade to polyurethane, not to mention they will outlast the oem rubber ones because they don't deteriorate like rubber. If you are suffering from noise, your bushings may have actually failed. If they haven't, consider yourself lucky and don't worry.

If you are experiencing a noise you should have the vehicle inspected by a shop. That noise could be caused by several different things including the sway bar bushings or even your front struts. I wish I had a simple answer for ya, but I don't.

No, I am still not able to get them separately. No worries though, Whiteline's local rep dropped by yesterday and brought me their new Diff kit and will be sending me their compression rod bushings shortly, which will be sold separately. As soon as they are available for sale, I'll start a new thread for them.
