FYI, i just did the exact same install you just did and its not the stock FPR you are drilling, its the siphon jet. its the little yellow piece on the bottom fuel pump assembly. If you have a fuel return system you shouldnt even have the FPR in the fuel pump assembly, the kit should have came with a bypass

^^The little yellow piece at the bottom of the sending unit, isnt that just a yellow cap piece. It doesnt really connect to anything. And you do have to drill the intank regulator, to make the jet bigger.

Update:
Car is running good AFR at idle is around 9 and when i give it gas it goes up to about 11~12. I noticed oil leaking on the floor just behind the pan. So put it on the lift and couldnt really tell where it wa coming from so just pulled the whole pan and spacer and resealed it with more gasket sealant. hopefully that fixed it. Should be back up at the shop on saturday.

no its actually called a siphon jet, if you look in the CJM install manual for the return fuel system it tells you to drill it out to .070" If you pop it off (I had to do it with a long screwdriver from the inside of the plastic assembly) you will see that there is a very small hole in it. If you have a return system you should have completely bypassed the intank regulator, hence the need for a aeromotive FPR.
