ok ok... so my car has basically been running like crap ever since the install... tonight it was running so lean that my cats were glowing becuz they were sooo damn hott... Mark configured some numbers on the UTEC but it still ran lean... so that basically means that my car wasnt getting enough fuel.... did some research so here it is....

when installing the fuel pump you have to drill a 7/64 hole in the fuel pressure regulator (which we did not do) this lets the orifice have the flow capacity needed for the bigger fuel pump... so as of right now my 255 is still pushing through like a stock pump... fuel < air = lean! LOL also someone on the boards stated that if you dont drill that hole in the FPR your Fuel pressure will be around 70 psi... which is what i am right now... soo maybe...just maybe... this could be the answer to my problem... we shall see tomorrow gents... tune in later today as the "supercharger install" returns!

I think that might be the answer we are looking for bro. I knew it had somthing to do with the fuel pressure. This should be an easy fix.

Did ya'll ever install the FMU and inline fuel pump that vortech provides with their full kit? Because I think this might be a problem we might have to take it out if you did. Also did ya'll ever drill the siphone inlet to the bottom of the fuel assembly I think it looks yellow?

We are going to drill out the In-tank fpr today, aux. pump was never installed (not needed). But what we will do is look into the routing to the fmu hose. And see if we can hook it up to the laptop and datalog. You going by Mark?
