Daniel is right... we have to run it so it is recirculating instead of going into the FMU and straight out... i dont know why we did it like that in the first place but we are going to try to get it done tomorrow... Daniel send me that pic of the FMU installed in your car... thanks bro!

Hey am going to call you here in a sec. Also Sharif told me that he does not have a base map for a vortec but that you should use the turbonetics base one that is on the utec. That should be good enough for you to make it to H-town just don't get on it.

update... everything is in.... just got to put the plastics back on the car... We will be heading out to SGP tomorrow morning to get tuned... thanks to all that helped! Look forward to getting down and dirty again on Devons install... Ronnie dont be a wuss get that supercharger!

 

So yeah... i guess Mark at SGP got into a surfing accident this weekend so he will not be able to Tune our cars until hopefully next week... depending on how is oral surgery goes... and noone else at SGP has the skills to do it so looks like we are going to have to wait... Hope he is ok...

 

I guess just bad luck. Did you talk to tom? Was the accident really bad? I'm working on a map for ya'lls utec that will work great for getting you guys around.

I have to do it manualy, it is not that hard I just plug the utec to a PC or laptop go into the parimiters and change it save it and your good.

 

so when can i give you the UTEC to get that map on it? Will it run better than what it is running now?

 

It should run way better. Sharif told me that you guys are running of the base map. You see the utec piggybacks it self off the ecu and the utec right now is telling it what you got. And right now it is saying no boost and stock injectors. It is saying the same for daniels car also. All I need is a 9v battery cable or 9v battery. Also do ya'll have a DB9 Serial cable? I think I got one at home I have to check. If I can get these thing I can just copy and past new maps in ya'lls utec.

 

You know what I might just have that type of USB cable so I might not need the DB9.

 

sounds good mark... all we have with the utec is the data cable it came with and the 9v power supply... but im sure i can get the 9v battery... since you got the usb cable i guess we should be good to go... until the tune anyways... thanks alot mark....
