Fun Roads to Drive in Houston

I've been looking around for some winding, twisty roads in Houston to go for a "spirited" Sunday drive, but I'm yet to find any roads with more than a few twists or bends, followed by long straights.

So here's a forum that we can all post our favorites roads to drive in the Houston area

Dairy Ashford has a few nice curves out by Eldridge. And theres a few one lane roads through the Bear Creek Parks, Patterson, Groeske, etc.

Try 1489 from Brookshire to Simonton, off of I10 on the west side of Houston. The twisty turns were the guts of the BBQ run a few years ago. Very fun to drive at high speeds. Watch out for all the other guys enjoying that stretch of road. Check it out on the map, you will see how twisty it really is. It is a blast.

Where exactly is the new 99, perhaps in relation to I-10.? I didn't see it on Mapquest - about how far out is it

Another good stretch of road to drive is crabb river road from US 59 to Brazos Bend State Park!
It is composed of some nice straight aways connected by high speed turns. Very fun to drive a 100+ mph.
