You guys have any experience with Austin Infiniti?
I'm considering brining my g in for an oil consumption test & have coil pack #6 checked out. I'm slightly modded... mrev2 & 5/16 spacer. Synthetic oil.
I've read that some dealers are cool with mods, while others balk and try to refuse warranty service. Any feedback along these lines for Austin Infiniti?

Bought my car there, but no experience with the service department.
Bring a copy of the furgeson warranty act and bust it out should they try to pull some BS

+1 I've gotten oil changes and other small maintenance from them before, but this was before I modded the engine, or suspension. They seem ok.

Be prepared, they will marginalize your concerns/problems and talk you out of warranty repairs unless the car won't run at all. When you finally convince them to do the work, they'll give you a loaner and take care of you. I've had my car in w/ pop charger & z tube and HKS rear section exhaust and they didn't flinch at all so I think they're cool with that.
I probably will never buy another new Infiniti because of them, but if you need warranty service they're pretty much the only game in town (i.e. a monopoly).

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I think I'm going to live w/ the oil consumption issue and check the coil pack myself. If its fouled, I'll bring it to them.

I've had nothing but good luck with them. Have taken my car in there for practically every service. Strictly bolt on stuff (Stillen air box, HKS duals) but they've never given me flack about it. Just did a fluid overhaul for the rear and and tranny there yesterday as a matter of fact.
Ask for Monte. He's great.
Labor's a little steep. Like $105 an hour, and their parts are pricey, but the service might be the best I've had personally. And the loaners they give out are pretty damned sweet to boot.

How much did the transmission and diff service cost?

$102 labor and ~$50 for parts (oil) on the trans (I have a 6MT).
$105 labor and $20 in oil on the differential.
