Good luck! I will however note that I was an assistant manager for TCBY Yogurt in Dallas, and the business did not do very well.... it might have been a demographic issue, do your research, don't put one near a star bucks, or another frozen type place, that will only hurt you!

Good luck again!

Phil

I would put one in a nice family area, like:

The Woodlands
Kingwood
Sugarland

I work very close to that area you mentioned, and I would NOT recommend it

Open a Chipotle on the Kingwood Dr. / Lake Houston intersection. That place would be $$$$$$$$$$$$

Yogurt places are quite challenging, just judging from those that have opened/closed over the years.

That said, there are a couple in Sugarland, one is in the town center, that has thrived quite well (Swirll) and to think they're within a stones throw away from both a Starbucks and a Ben & Jerry's. So yes, location is the key. Look for an area that has a lot of walking traffic --- not just a shop where you expect people to drive and park. The town center is great for this due to all the events and variety of shops in the area. Plus, it's outdoors and everyone always wants to cool down.

Another area to consider is Pearland/town center.

p.s. PM me if and when you plan to scout the area. Me, or one of us at Strictly G's can likely help you out.
