Fuel Meter broken?
i have looked around for this topic and i havent seen it discussed. Heres my problem.
When i turn on the car the fuel meter reads wrong. This is not the tsb when you cant fill your tank up, i mean its been filled up, it reads fine, you turn on your car the next day and it reads EMPTY and the light is on.
It may or may not go up during your drive, but the next time you turn on the car you hope it reads correctly again. So.......when i turn on the car its either going to read correctly, or it reads empty with the light on, turn the car on/off a couple times until it reads correctly.
Anyone heard of this problem?

Sounds like a funky sending unit. Have someone check it out. Or, pull your gas tank off and check it yourself. Pain in the duppa but it can be done. (Hint: run it verrrrrrryyyyy low on gas before you unstrap the tank.)

I've had a few problems with my Fuel readout on my coupe and my dad has had the same with his FX-35. Its not to the extent where i just filled up and it goes to empty but it changes all the time. Sometimes i am almost empty and next time i start the car it shoots back up to almost half tank.
