Brake Warranty

Here's a link to 'youngcanuck's' good news thread on brakes.
Brake warranty (Canada)

I would expect that the U.S. G's will follow suit, but at the moment it looks like only Canadian G's are covered at the moment.
Anyone hears anything please post.

I concur....links rarely work on this site, whether for pics or http.
Why??? Very frustrating...I usually hope the user has published on the other G35 site...where the links work!

The site was just upgraded recently (12-1) and the links and pics fell victim. It is fixable though and I am sure as time permits, it will be taken care of.

The pics for those links haven't been imported yet. That will take time.

As has been said b4, the site is open but not finished yet.

It's impossible to have everything up and running this quickly.
----------

Canadian version of Brake Warranty(U.S. version similar with appropriate dist. in miles):

The warranty basicly addresses 2003/2004 Sedans and automatic Coupes for 3 yrs and 60k kilometers.
It covers brake pads and rotors replacement (or turning) when required.

----------

This extra or extended warranty has been out now for a year. The dealer will have all the details of who and what is covered.

Alternately call:
Infiniti Info Centre: 800-361-4792 (Canada)
Nissan North America: 800-662-6200 (U.S.)

Thanks for your patience.

Coupes with 6MT have the Brembo brakes and unusually faster wear is not a problem with them, supposedly.

Does anyone have the answer to this question? do you just bring in your G and they will replace your brakes under warranty?

I complained about my breaks grindinig and they changed them free of charge. The only thing is i don't have brembo's so I don't know about that setup; but non-brembo you are covered with free breaks until 60,000 miles...

Brakes

So for no brembo brakes, they will replace up until 60,000 miles? What if the dealer tells me no. How do I prove him other wise?
