Does everyone here have a 6mt? My theory is that on cold mornings the gear oil is thicker and the transmission makes noise until the oil is heated to the right temperature.

 

anybody ever figure out what this is....

I have an 05 coupe MT with 60K miles and i just noticed this....

If the car is in neutral, and i give the gas pedal a quick rev....it whistles...
or when I shift gears and accelerate, it whistles....its coming from somewhere in the engine..

sounds like I have a turbo in there, but its annoying...

Does anybody know what it is or how to fix it???

 

I had this problem a few months ago or whenever it was. It just went away... I sorta liked it. Now I'm going to blow some money on a TBS lol

 

hahahaha....from what ive read it doesnt effect the car performance wise...but I would like to know what the heck it is because it is noticeable.
