The instrument panel, or I believe combination meter on my 2003 G35 Coupe is malfunctioning. It sometimes (randomly) does not come on at all when I initially start the car. But after I drive it around for a few miles it eventually turns on. Please Help!!!

any other things not coming on? like the radio and such, if that is the case check the dimmer switch, if not probably a problem with the unified meter, i have seen a few of those go bad randomly.

 

Everything else worked fine. It happened twice a couple of months ago, and hasn't happened since. If it does I'll check the unified meter.

where is the unified meter? i have no radio or cluster lights. what could this be?
