Passenger Lock Not Working

title pretty much says it all...is there a DIY type of thing where i can switch out the battery?
i have to manualy turn the lock for it to open
PITA!

im havin the same problem on the passenger side and the door wont open from the outside on that side either if someone has some suggestions it would be very much appreciated

Door lock actuators are a common problem on these cars. If it is just one door doing it then it is not a key fob battery, it is probably the lock actuator. Here is a link to two DIY's for removing the door panel and one for replacing the actuator.

If you don't go the $5 route you can buy a new lock actuator from an Infiniti dealer but they aren't cheap. One of the site sponsors would probably get you a decent deal on one. If you are still under warranty just let the dealer take care of everything.

The $5 route eventually became a failure. I PM'd the OP of that thread to ask for help and he said the $5 dollar solution didn't last a very long time. I eventually went with OEM nissan actuators for about 130 for each door.

Where can i find oem actuators for 130?
