Post engine replace

i took my car to the dealer beacause of the oil comsuption problem. they told me i was getting a new engine ok i pick my car up today and this is what they did they rebuilt the engine i believed the replace engine bare. casket adapter.gasket manifold upper. gasket exaust.gasket throttle cham. ring rubber gasket water inlet. washer outlet oil filter. long life antifreeze. gasket solenoid. please help. is this the new engine every thing else was the same
there was clicking noise inside the engine before they did the work and i drove it today and still there. and there is grinding noise on cluth is that normal. any one having the same problem the car is 2006 coupe manual \

They should have given you a whole new long block ! Thats a whole new engine !!

no i didnt get it plus the clicking noise you can still hear it

i am going to take it back to the dealer tomorrow i am so **** off man. they kept the car for 8 days

Never heard of the Dealer rebuilding the engine, leaves to much liability for future warranty claims. Factory does not have any control over the techs ability or experience. Sounds like the Dealer is double dipping, there could be more money in labor to "rebuild" vs warranty labor to R & R longblock. Just a thought......
