sigh......

it's the Antilock Brakes System checking itself. IT IS PERFECTLY NORMAL.

 

It has been going on for a while and the stealership cannot correct the problem. I have TIEN Flex Coilovers and Stillen ADJ Camber and TOE. Does anyone with this suspension expierence this awful sound when driving at putt putt pace in mid afternoon traffic. OR if the car is on a slight incline and you creep down or creeping anywhere for that matter this metal to metal grinding sound occurs again at FL, i think near the axle. Anyone have any Suggestions?

Wow ! Been a long time since someone last posted on this, but i am experiencing the same problem. When i reverse and put it in drive, soon as i take off it is like a (grind) front driver side for like a sec and stops. I also noticed it on my 03 Sedan, Same issue.....When i took it to the dealer they couldn't find anything...Really curious to what it is...

 

I have an 04 base coupe AT that I recently purchased. Mine does the same thing. Hopefully, it is ABS self test as other posters have mentioned. I also have a rattle from under the car. It happens when the car is idling in park. Must be with the flywheel. Not sure - can anyone shed light on this?

 

The Abs self test makes alot of sense, Because I could feel that noise vibrating on brake pedal when I hit the brakes, I been wondering what it was for the past couple years. I have 04 g35 sedan 6AT. I notified that if I leave it for warm up for about a minute or so, I don't get that grinding noise. Too bad the dealer Considers this as normal, and doesn't want to address this issue.
