not an accurate dyno! its def the heat and your popcharger. take that popcharger out before you dyno...did you dyno in 3rd or 4th gear?

Speaking of MT 350z.... when you to to build one at nissanusa they have that entire NISMO section of options. Would they be worthwhile or just grossly overpriced dealer stuff? Thoughts? I have G35... just wondering.

dont jack my post!!...j/j....i think all that nismo stuff is overpriced dealer stuff...like the "R tune package"...just a cold air intake, different rims, and a body kit with a ugly spoiler...you can get all that plus more for a better price...but it does come with the dealer warranty...

The numbers are going to vary from dyno to dyno, especially with the Texas weather. However, I am curious as to the design of your custom exhaust. Does it have an h-pipe or x-pipe.

the custom exhaust runs straight where the ypipe is and does have an H pipe...its pretty small but the only reason i put it in was to calm down the noise...i also have 4..yes 4 resonators on my car...im not a fan of loud as exhausts..just like the aggressive deep tone...but im pretty sure the resonators are not hurting my exhaust flow...when i drive my car and feel how strongly it pulls its hard to believe its only putting down 215 and 215..im gonna add HFC and the ultra S unorthodox pulley...and a emanage blue..then im gonna get it tuned and dynoed and see the results...

Got to love the tb. Very rare color indeed.

We have very similar mods, minus differences in headers (lack of for me) and intake (Injen). I was putting down 239hp, 228ft-lbs torque last year in 90 degree weather. Another 5AT coupe with an Invidia exhaust was putting down something like 245hp, 221ft-lbs (K&N panel filter, plenum spacer, Invidia).

Did anybody else dyno that day? Then you have a point of reference. More than likely the dyno is just reading low.

how do you tell if there is an exhaust leak? I just realize that when I started my car at "Park", I would hear some weird hissing sound "psss" continuously... Does that mean that I have an exhaust leak? hmmm.....

hey diablo, quick question....did you happen to see where they hooked the rear straps to keep the car down on the car? I'm asking because I had my car dynoed not too long ago and they took about 40 minutes trying to decide where to hook it up...I was so nervous, cuz I kept hearing "its a 40k car, I dont want to mess it up" Needless to say the hooked it up on through a small hole near the left rear tire and on the right rear tire on the aluminum control arm.....does anyone know if this was safe or the correct place to hook our cars at?

Good point Black Pearl. I had my car dynoed one time and they strapped it down to tight and it forced my e brake on. It actually cracked my rotor from the friction heat.

There was a 5at coupe that day putting down about 210. hmmm?
